Getting started

How do I get started?
Open the app, connect a Bluesky or Mastodon feed, and your first column appears. Add as many columns as you like and arrange them into the deck that suits you.
How do I connect Bluesky or Mastodon?
Open the app, choose Connect a feed, and pick your network. For Bluesky you'll sign in with an app password; for Mastodon you'll authorise Crossdeck on your home instance. That's it — the column appears immediately.
Why is a column empty after I connect it?
Give it a few seconds to fetch. If it stays empty, check that the account has posts in the selected feed and that any per-column muted words aren't filtering everything out.

Using your deck

Can one column show more than one network?
Yes — that's the point of Crossdeck. A merged column interleaves posts from every connected network by time, and each post keeps a small source badge so you always know where it came from.
How do muted words work?
Each column has its own muted-words list. Anything matching is hidden live across every source in that column. Edit the list any time from the column's ⋯ menu.
Can I post to several networks at once?
Yes. The composer cross-posts to every account you select and applies each network's character limit. Replies are locked to the platform of the post you're answering.

Privacy & data

Where is my data stored?
Your connections and column layout live on your device. Nothing about your deck is stored on our servers, and we never post on your behalf without an explicit action.
How do I disconnect a feed?
Open the column's source menu (or Settings → Connections) and choose Disconnect. This revokes Crossdeck's access to that network and removes any cached posts for that source.
Which networks are coming next?
Bluesky and Mastodon work today. RSS and Threads are in progress — connect what you have now and the new sources will appear in the picker as they ship.
